Teachers tell me they can't integrate yoga and mindfulness for two reasons: They don't know how and they don't have time. I hear that 100%.

Field trips are a great way to supplement learning, but often homeschoolers don’t get any background information on the location of their field trip and want to enrich their experience by expanding the learning at home before and after the trip. These units help give information and fun activities before and after the field trip.

We follow the story of Shannon, a business magnate who travels for her profession and is compelled to wait in line to purchase the brand new gaming system, The Flexdrive 2000. She plans to present this gift to her two children as she flies home after the Thanksgiving holiday. After unexpectedly waiting in the checkout line longer than she anticipates, she realizes that she missed her flight home – and that’s when the story begins take on a b-plot of its own. Shannon, along with other supporting coworkers, acquaintances, and a South California beach bum, are forced to make choices that will directly impact the holiday shopping season, and more importantly, time spent with their families. Join us in a hip-hop, non-stop adventure through the post- Thanksgiving merchandise frenzy in ”Black Flyday” The musical is 25 minutes in duration and features 6 movements in various musical genres. When it comes time to discuss timbre, instrument families, ranges, and the alike, you need instant samples of instruments. I used to do it the old way -- finding a specific piece of music, cueing it up in the CD player or mp3, and implement it in my lesson. Engage students in exploring cultural diversity through enlightening interviews and vibrant creative projects focused on food. Foster empathy, curiosity, and global awareness.

This 13-page project-based (PBL) unit features three assignments for students to explore cultural diversity through:

• "Mon projet de patrimoine familiale": Interviewing their own family members and creating a brochure or pamphlet summarizing their family's traditions.

• Included with this project is a lesson plan with suggestions, rubric, success criteria, a letter to parents (in both English and French) as well as the interview (in both English and French).

• "Mon héritage culinaire": A class recipe book activity featuring your students' traditional recipes used in their families and passed down through generations.

Boost your students' vocabulary surrounding Fall and Halloween with this Make-Your-Own Bingo activity suitable for all ages and all levels of French.

This activity is a great way to have your students create their own bingo cards and then to play with them. It comes with many versions depending on your Core French groups.

1. Two versions, one with instructions in English and one with instructions in French, which prompt your students to color, cut and paste to create their bingo card.
2. Two versions, one with instructions in English and one with instructions in French, which prompt your students to create their own illustrations, cut and paste to their bingo card.

Choose the version applicable to your students' level and then they'll cut out their squares and paste them to their bingo card. Take this to the next level by laminating their cards so that they can use a dry-erase marker as a bingo dabber!
