Colorful Semantics is a structured language intervention designed to support the development of language and communication skills, particularly in children with speech and language difficulties. This resource includes boards with pictures on and spaces for children to build sentences using the relevant 'who', 'what', 'where', 'what doing' cards.
Why do you need this?
Colorful Semantics uses color coded cards to help children to learn the important elements of a sentence and how to join them together in the correct order. By visually representing each part of the sentence with a specific color, learners can better understand the structure and meaning of sentences, as well as the relationships between words.
How and when might you use this?
This approach is often implemented through a variety of interactive and hands-on activities, such as sentence building games, storytelling, and picture-based exercises. "Goes" Present Tense Sentences - Speech Therapy - Sorting by Location

This product is great for students working on those tricky present tense sentences that aren't the easiest to elicit naturally. As many students use "go" incorrectly for singular subjects ("The crayon go in the box"), students will have repeated practice of "goes" sentences with this resource. This is done through sorting of objects by location (e.g., "The toothbrush goes in the bathroom"). NO PREP worksheets and sentence frames are also included. Student Distant Learning Virtual Visual Schedules

Visual Schedules enable students to understand what they are doing over a period of time such as the school day. They give structure to the day and can reduce anxiety levels. Symbols are used to represent the tasks, activities or lessons that the student will work through.
These schedules can be uploaded into Google Slides and are perfect for virtual learning. Each schedule comes with visual icons that can be moved around to correspond with the student's schedule.
Time Schedule- on the first slide is the ‘timed’ schedule. Select icons on the side of the page and place them next to the time your student will be working on that lesson or activity.

Food Pack Speech Therapy Opportunities English

Fall Prepositions Adapted Books

Adaptive Books with a fall prepositions theme cover a variety of prepositions (in, on, around, behind, beside, above, and under. This set of adapted books includes four books!
Two books require your students to follow the directions to put icons in the correct place. Each book has eight different pictures to place appropriately in the book. As part of the preparation process, you will want to add multiple pieces of velcro to ensure students demonstrate understanding by their specific placement of the icons.
The other two books require your students to complete a sentence. Each sentence is simple, such as "The owl is ______ the pumpkin." A picture is provided to help the students understand the sentence.
These books, while requiring some prep work, are a versatile resource that you can use year after year. This winter Valentine's Day activity resource serves as a great way to teach speech language therapy students or English language learners how to follow directions and produce sentences containing spatial concepts. While many resources offer mixed practice with multiple spatial concepts at the same time, this is often too much for our students to handle. This resource allows for repeated blocked practice for each individual spatial concept to improve memory and understanding of the concept. Spatial concepts are presented in opposites, with one concept emphasized on each page. This activity allows for increased language comprehension while also providing opportunity for vocabulary development, sequencing, categorization, and sentence production.

There are a total of 69 Wheels included for all the 4 sets. You can decide how many wheels can be used, it can just a few or multiple can be used at once depending on the learner.
This bundle can be used to strengthen fine motor skills, explore during morning work or used as supplemental literacy/math centers. The clip cards are skill-based, they are not thematic, so they can be used anytime during the year.
