This creative It’s just a Circle! Or is it? : Art Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on the big screen.
For this assignment, I asked students to make an awesome artwork out of a simple “circle”. Students start with a brainstorming circle paper. After brainstorming different circle designs, students choose their favorite for a Final Copy Paper. Art materials could be colored pencils, crayons, watercolor paint, and/or color sharpies. *CONTRAST, PATTERN, REPETITION, MOVEMENT, ETC. This is a 2-3-day assignment.

What is Physical Fitness Adapted Notes and Review

In this product about physical fitness, students will learn about the different sports and activities that they can participate in, students will learn about the benefits of physical activity, blood pressure - things that can increase blood pressure and what blood pressure is, health fitness reviews - heart, lungs, muscles, and joints and how to maintain each of these is reviewed, cardiorespiratory endurance and the meaning is reviewed, what the heart rate is and students will also learn how to determine their heart rate, students will learn how they can improve cardiorespiratory endurance at home or in school, students will also learn what muscular endurance is, how to improve it, and the benefits of improving muscular endurance, what is flexibility and examples of how to be flexible, what is body composition, fat tissue, and lean tissue and how they are important in the body, students will learn about muscular strength and what they can do to improve muscular strength. Students will also learn about the 6 major fitness skills are, their meanings, and examples - agility, balance, coordination, reaction time, speed, and power, what the President's challenge is and what events are included in this event are all covered. Different kinds of workouts are discussed and reviewed along with examples - low-intensity physical activities, moderate-intensity physical activities, and vigorous-intensity physical activities and how they differ from each other, aerobic activities and examples, the process of a workout is reviewed - the warm up, target heart rate, specific exercises, training, overload, progression, and frequency, and what each of these terms mean. Students will also learn what FIIT means - Frequency, intensity, time, and type of exercise, and the importance of setting health goals - students will have time to do this in this product.
Throughout the product, students will answer comprehension questions that relate with the material that is carried out on each slide. Students can complete this as a group, independently, with a partner.

For this assignment, I asked students to get with a partner or into small groups and brainstorm subject matter, orientation, and theme of the overall composition. Plus, decide which group member(s) will be in charge of what to draw and where to draw it. Students will need to sketch out ideas first inside a sketchbook, transfer the sketches to Final Copy Paper, outline the large image, and start coloring in everything with crayon. Forms of Energy Adapted Notes and Review

In this product, different forms of energy are reviewed. Students will learn that energy exists in other forms, what energy is, how you can't always see energy, stored energy vs. energy in motion and examples for students to make connections with each, kinetic energy, examples of kinetic energy for students to make connections with it in real life, students will locate and circle the different kinds of kinetic energy, potential and kinetic energy and how it can go back and forth (picture explanations are also included to provide a visual), different forms of energy - electrical, light, sound, thermal, chemical, and mechanical energy are reviewed - their meanings and examples of each along with pictures so students can make connections with what they are learning in their personal life, what matter is and how it is in chemical energy, and energy transformation picture examples are provided. Students will then be required to write down the different types of energy that change to other kinds of energy when they are provided with picture examples. Students will also be required to draw picture and write down the forms of energy that were used to show energy transformation. At the end of the product, students can complete the review that includes short answer and multiple choice questions.
Throughout the product, students will answer short answer comprehension questions to ensure comprehension after reviewing each page of notes.

For this assignment, I asked students to make an Underwater Perspective Walkway, celebrating the joy of 1-point perspective and sea life. Students brainstorm their ideas in a sketchbook and learn how to draw in 1-point perspective (step-by-step demonstrations). Measurements w/ rulers and yardsticks are learned. A compass is used for the curves. Students take the sketch to Final Copy paper and outline important features. Materials will be mainly colored pencils and transparent watercolor blue wash paints. This is a 3-5-day assignment.

For this assignment, I asked students to make a Geometric Shapes Collage showing squares, rectangles, triangles, and/or circles. Students get to choose three of their favorite colors to work with. Students choose which colors go on top the base color papers. Students learned folding, cutting, gluing, and placing (overlapping) skills during this 1-to-2-Day Art Unit. Collage Art: Flowerpot Collage.

Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Flowerpot Collage Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this PDF file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked the students to create two separate artworks: a drawing (colored in), and a collage artwork. Students spent two days drawing and coloring a flowerpot artwork. Students spent another two days creating a flowerpot collage artwork that showed similarities in color and patterns used to their drawing artwork. We were able to hang both artworks in the art gallery side-by-side each other to show the comparisons. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

Painting Art: Stained-Glass Tree.

This creative Stained-Glass Tree Painting Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to practice drawing different trees. Next, I taught students how to draw a tree that has branches extending to the edge of the paper. I demonstrated how to outline and fill in the tree. Students created their own stained-glass tree artwork on Final Copy Paper. Students outlined and colored their artwork. Students used mostly watercolor paints for their artwork. Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Field of Flowers Scene was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked the students to start right on a 18x24-inch Final Copy Paper. Students were asked to draw 15-30 large flowers all over their paper. Students were allowed to paint the flowers with any colors they wanted. When the artwork was dry students outlined all the flowers with a black sharpie marker. Some collage skills were added to the assignment at the end of the unit when students needed to cut/glue down strips of construction paper to the bottom of the Final Copy Field of Flowers, to look like fence posts. Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Ghostly Self Portraits Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. It is best to use grey newsprint paper if you have it, but if you do not you could use white drawing paper (if you give the white paper a grey-ish look ahead of time). I used pencil to sketch everything out in student sketchbooks and on final copy newsprint paper. I used black crayon OR black oil pastel (depending on grade level) to first outline the major features of the pencil drawing. The older students used oil pastels. After outlining, white crayon OR white oil pastels were used for the self-portrait eyes, and a few other areas. Pattern was a focus throughout the composition whether it showed up on the person or in the background. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

Need an awesome Art Unit? I have just the thing for you! This creative Piet Mondrian Circle artwork was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I did a demo and taught the class how to trace lids/containers and how to use a ruler/yardstick. Measurement was a strong focus of the lesson. Students traced a large lid/container on Final Copy paper. Students used a ruler/yardstick to make straight lines: vertical, horizontal, and diagonal. Students made some lines thin and some lines very thick. Students traced everything with a black sharpie marker. Students used crayons, colored pencils, or colored sharpies to color their Piet Mondrian Design. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.

This creative Salvador Dali Melting Clock Unit was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. For this assignment, I asked students to practice drawing melting clocks. Next, I taught students how to draw a Dali-melting clock. I demonstrated how to draw a melting clock with numbers, step-by-step. Students created their own melting clock drawing on Final Copy Paper. Students outlined and colored their artwork. Younger grades used crayons. Older grades used oil pastels. I hope you and your kiddos love this! Enjoy.
