Need an awesome Movement Activity? I have just the thing for you! This creative Conscious Discipline “Breathing Pose” resource was designed to be printed and displayed as examples while you teach. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. It is best to use one of these images per day or per week, so these resources can last a while. Focus on the specific animal shown and discuss where this animal would be and how it would breathe and pose to gain focus. Make sure you demonstrate the pose with your class. These Dental Health Activities are a Dental Health Month (February) educational package designed for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. A range of activities that can be used as individual exercises or as part of a lesson plan depending on what works best for you and your students are included in the package. The most important thing to remember is that in order to empower children to take charge of their oral health, they need to understand that their mouth is a window to the health of the rest of their body, therefore it is important they keep it healthy by:

• Brushing their teeth for two minutes, twice a day.
• Selecting less-sugary foods and beverages over sugar-filled ones.
• Two annual visits to the dentist.

This product includes 2 social stories that focus on feeling frustrated. Each short story includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters who are experiencing frustration. When students are reading each story, they will review feeling frustrated and what happens when they feel that way. They can also use strategies learned in these social stories throughout their day to day routine. The vocabulary word frustrated is reviewed and discussed, the questions: how do you feel when you are frustrated is asked and how can you make yourself feel better if you feel frustrated. Examples of feeling frustrated are reviewed in this product.
