Make your ESL classroom look different from a regular education room by Considering these multilingual Fruits Vocabulary labels!

Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 37 words for a total of 10 pages. Check out the preview of the first 4. They each feature the English word in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Languages included are Chinese (simplified/Red), Arabic (Violet), Russian (Green), and Spanish (Brown). To help aid meaning, I've included pictures.

Fun and engaging way to teach 28 items of clothing and accessories in German. Contains 29 I Have, Who Has...? cards and a cut and paste picture dictionary. Low prep, just print out and cut up.

How to use:

1. Ich habe..., wer hat...? Card Game

Print out, cut up. It can be played in small or large groups. Hand out all of

the cards to pupils, each has roughly the same number of cards. The student

with the 1st card starts by asking Wer hat... The pupil with the matching

card replies Ich habe... and asks Wer hat...? The game finishes when pupils get to the last card.

During the activity teacher monitors the correct use of articles.

2. Cut and Paste Picture Dictionary

Each pupil gets 1 set of picture cards and 1 set of word cards. Pupils cut them

out. They can either glue them onto the provided sheets or in their notebooks.

Make sure they glue the picture and word cards in the correct article

category.

Classroom management in a middle school Core French classroom can be dicey! That's why I engage my students as much as possible to keep em' on their toes! Prof du jour is a part of my everyday routine, where a different student each day is given the opportunity to lead the discussions with their peers and to give them confidence in French. Sit back and watch the magic!

This isn't just a run-of-the-mill calendar! My Prof du jour is at the command desk and interacts with their peers and the Google Slides. Here are some activities that my Grades 4, 5 and 6 students actively use found in this document:

• Complete Calendar (drag & drop icons) for SEPTEMBER 2024 - JUNE 2025.

• Weather, time of day, days of the week, and terms like "yesterday," "today," and "tomorrow."

• Two versions available: One has the Sunday start and another has the Monday start, depending on how you prefer to view your calendar with your students.

• A Wheel Decide question prompter (which you can edit by removing or adding questions your students are working on).

• An "I SPY" prompter (a favorite in ALL of my classes).

In this lesson, students learn interesting facts about the invention of language as they complete several projects including a WebQuest (Internet Scavenger Hunt) to answer questions about the topic. A complete answer key is provided for the WebQuest for easy grading, along with resources for both teachers and students. The student questions are included in both a print version and a digital (editable) version to make it easy for students to complete the lesson digitally or on paper. Also included with this lesson is a word search puzzle and an answer key, which is perfect for early finishers or as a part of the lesson.

This lesson is intended to be an introduction to the topic and was designed for middle school (grades 6-8) but could be used in upper elementary or high school as well. Directions

Materials Needed:

• One of the 10 worksheets or the editable template where you add your own words
• A regular six-sided die
• Colors
• Optional: A device with a QR code scanner (phone, tablet, etc.)

Rolling the Die:

• Students roll a six-sided die to determine which color word they read in Spanish.
• Students can also scan the QR code on the worksheet using a device with a QR code scanner to access a virtual dice roller.

Reading the Word:

• Students match the number rolled with the corresponding color word on their worksheet.
• Students read aloud the color in Spanish to practice pronunciation.

Marking Progress:

• Once students read a word, they should shade in color the box using the color that matches the Spanish word read.
• If students roll a number they have already completed, they should roll again until they land on a new word.
• Students continue rolling and reading until they have completed all the words on their worksheet.

With this game, learners have less than 15 seconds to race against the clock and translate the number, color, or shape represented by the highlighted word. Here's the twist: The possible responses start disappearing after time. Incorrect answers lose points and correct answers earn points. Multiple uses for the cards:

• Matching: Students practice pairing the images with the words in Spanish.
• Flashcards: One student holds up the picture card and the other students race to be the first to say the Spanish word.
• Memory: Choose 15-20 pairs to lay facedown on the table. Students take turns looking for the matches.
• Pictionary: One student pulls a card from the deck to draw and the other students try to guess the word in Spanish.
• Conversations:** **Students go around and ask each other if they like the food item on their card. Once they have asked, swap cards.

• This resource is a fun vocabulary matching game to practice numbers in Spanish.
• Tripas de gato is a traditional game played in Latin America.

Make your ESL classroom look different from a regular education room by Considering these multilingual animals and colors labels!

Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 55 words for a total of 14 pages. Check out the preview of the first 4. They each feature the English word in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Languages included are Chinese (simplified/Red), Arabic (Violet), Russian (Green), and Spanish (Brown). To help aid meaning, I've included pictures.

Fun and engaging way to teach FOREST vocabulary. Contains 29 I Have, Who Has...? cards and a memory game. It teaches animals and plants of European forests - 28 words in total. Low prep, just print out and cut up.

Contains:

How to use:

1. I Have, Who Has? Card Game

Print out, cut up. It can be played in small or large groups. Hand out all of

the cards to pupils, each has roughly the same number of cards. The student

with the 1st card starts by asking Who has...? The pupil with the matching

card replies and asks Who has...? The game finishes when pupils get to the

last card.

During the activity teacher monitors the correct use of articles.

2. Memory Game

Print out and cut up. It can be played in small groups. For bigger classes

print out several times and play in a number of groups. Students look for pairs.

TIP: Print a copy for each student and use as a picture dictionary. Students

cut out the pictures, glue them into their notebooks and add

descriptions.
