Help your students better understand how to positively resolve conflicts with peers! Students will brainstorm to contrast positive conflict resolution and negative conflict resolution and then learn steps to positively resolve conflicts with friends.

This mini-workbook is composed of 4 different activities. It will assist your students to identify their conflicts and the styles they used in handling these conflicts, as well. They will be given the chance to assess their present conflicts and if the resolution skills they used are effective.

There are also case scenarios to come up with more ways to resolve conflicts.

Each activity has processing questions to facilitate the learning experiences of the students and help them express and understand more the activities.

In this AVID game of four corners, students will have the opportunity to reflect on their own passions and see what they have in common with others. Students will have a discussion on different career explorations and interests. This game is a great way to build community and get students thinking about their future careers!

Directions:

How does media effect one's self esteem?

This package contains 6 lessons and a culminating task that will address this topic.

The package is meant to be taught over at least five lessons. With discussion, each page should easily fill a 45- to 60-minute lesson block.

Each lesson, except the last, should be started with a gratitude journal page.
